After the brutal battle against the Necrons, the Custodes have secured an ancient artifact — a Monolith of unknown origin, torn from the heart of a dead world. Their mission: to bring it back to Terra for analysis.
But in the depths of the Warp, no journey is ever safe. As their ship cuts through the immaterial storm, a psychic echo of unfathomable power draws the attention of an unspeakable threat — the Tyranids.
These ravenous creatures, driven by an endless collective hunger, are irresistibly drawn to the energy radiating from the Monolith. In mere moments, the silence of the Warp becomes a scream. The Custodes, divine guardians of the Emperor, ready themselves to defend their sanctified vessel.
Every corridor becomes a battlefield, every breath a prayer. The gold of their armor glows in the darkness as they face a tide of claws and fangs from another nightmare. Yet one question remains: what lies within this Monolith that could draw the Tyranids’ attention — even across the Warp itself?
The answer could shatter everything the Imperium believes about its ancient foes. The war goes on. And this time, it reaches the very heart of the galaxy.

Un Space Marine… transformé en rat géant. Oui, vraiment. Perdu dans le Warp, un fragment de planète dérive dans l’Empyréen.
Une ancienne balise de détresse émet un signal brouillé, à peine reconnaissable comme un vieux code de la Death Guard datant de l’Hérésie d’Horus. Intriguée, une Kill Team de la Death Guard est envoyée enquêter.
Au centre de ce monde brisé, un mystérieux obélisque pulse d’une énergie étrange… et une silhouette surgit de l’ombre. C’est Skritch, ancien Space Marine de l’unité des Ronges-Mondes… désormais transformé en rat monstrueux par les forces obscures qui hantent cet endroit. Mais les retrouvailles tournent court.
Une bande d’Orks débarque en hurlant, bien décidée à récupérer “le truc ki brille”, et la zone se transforme rapidement en un champ de bataille totalement incontrôlable. Entre rats qui pleuvent du ciel, anomalies du Warp, Nécrons qui débarquent pour purger la zone, Orks survoltés et même un Prince Démon qui surgit au pire moment, cette mission d’exploration va rapidement tourner au chaos total.
